Celebration of Latina/o Art and Poetry

Reception at the ASU Kerr Cultural Center for the Gallista art exhibition with many of the artists in attendance, 6:00-9:00 pm.

Performance by poet Brenda Cárdenas, 7:30 pm.

Screening of the brand-new video Yo soy/I am—Chicano Artists in Historical Context 1: Three Northern California Artists, featuring interviews with and art by Chicana/o art movement icons Juana Alicia, José Montoya and Malaquías Montoya.

Refreshments will be served.
