	Most of my work is filled with layers of color, shapes, figures and text that pay tribute to my hybrid (rural and city) upbringing, and the experiences that have resulted from that. Sometimes femenine in appearance and production, other times heavy with religious connotations, these images are abundant with the language I know best: painting. Influenced by art history, music, and poetry, at the core is a desire to communicate. To understand the human experience and to celebrate life.
