Javier Galan, Left Side of the Sun
Self taught artist Javier Galan was born and raised in Mexico and now lives and works in Austin, Texas. Galan works in a variety of media and is primarily influenced by the modern schools of art, Cubism, Surrealism, and Abstract Expressionism. Galan states that this print represents the inner nature of man as sun-like, disguising a feline metamorphosis of his face as an Egyptian god.
