This print is allegorical to the Taino Indian woman. "Yuisa" was a "cacique" or tribal leader in the island of Puerto Rico become the Spanish conquest. A cubanistic-surreal style distorting the image in sections and shapes that resemble feathers, flowers, leather strings or mechanical forms. Many of the shapes and forms are illusive to the patterns and symbols used by Taine Indians.
